Days filled with picturesque painting workshops, extraordinary sketch and photo opportunities, professional instruction, one-on-one tutoring, field-trips and free time to explore, paint, wine and dine, and shop.
Instruction is geared to the advanced beginner to intermediate watercolour painter with advanced painters welcome to participate and share in the camaraderie and friendly group critique sessions.
Itinerary:
Day 1
Meet your escort at Toronto Pearson Airport for your flight to Ireland.
Day 2 Dublin
On arrival you will be met and transfered to your City Centre Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure with time to discover historic Dublin City.
Overnight: Dublin
Day 3 Dublin
To day join your escort and board the on-off bus to see everything Dublin has to offer. Stop to sketch or snap a picture and hop back on the next bus to continue the tour.

Day 4 Dublin to Glenbeigh
Board your bus for an exciting journey from the east to the west of Ireland. On the way you you will visit Waterford Crystal and Blarney Castle. This is your chance to see the sparkle of Ireland and to kiss the Blarney Stone. I good way to set the mood of your tour! Laughter, colour and magic await! On arrival in Glenbeigh, check in to the lovely Kerry Ocean Lodge and meet Clara Sweeney, our host on Ireland’s eastern coast.

Day 5/6 Watercolour Workshop 1
Join your watercolour instructor, Victoria Shannon, for the first of many amazing days of colour. Today you paint! Victoria is available for one on one instruction as you capture the colours of Kerry. Your vista is the sea! Painting continues on Day 6. Never hesitate to ask for help. Join your painting group daily for a friendly critique. This schedule is continued throughout.

Day 7 Killarney Valley & Lakelands
Day trip to Killarney Valley & Lakelands, continuing onto the heritage town of Kenmare, and returning home by the dramatic Molls Gap and Ladies View route. Time to explore Killarneys National Park and Muckross House.

Day 8/9 Watercolour Workshop 2
Days of glorious scenery as we continue our painting.

Day 10 Monastic Island of Skelligs
Day trip to the monastic island of Skelligs, a World Heritage Site which lies 8 miles out in the Atlantic. Depart the mainland in the morning and return back late afternoon.

Day 11 Watercolour Workshop 3

Day 12 Dingle Peninsula
Day trip to the Dingle Peninsula. Dingle peninsula boasts the highest concentration of archaeological sites in Ireland, Dingle town is a colourful fishing village, once fortified and steeped in history. The town itself is a pleasure to stroll through with its many craft shops, pubs and restaurants.

Day 13 at leisure in Glenbeigh
This is a chance to enjoy one more day in Ireland.
